Marketing Assistant

  • Location: Dartford, UK

Typical Responsibilities

  • To support with all digital / social platforms and portals, ensuring optimum exposure.
  • To develop and enhance print / electronic product presentation materials to be used by both marketing and sales colleagues
  • Liaise with trade bodies & associations to ensure compliance
  • Manage literature stocks and photo library, coordinate distribution of literature, photos, samples, merchandise
  • Management of company newsletter
  • Support with events and exhibitions when required
  • Involvement with any other sales and marketing activities as and when required

Performance Indicators

  • Digital campaigns are accurate, engaging and efficient
  • All sales and company presentations up to date and distributed/accessible at all times
  • Communications are compliant with governing body guidelines
  • Literature stocks and photo library maintained at optimum levels and all request for materials actioned efficiently
  • Content factual and engaging, distributed efficiently and on time
  • Demonstration of good organisational skills and proficiency with Microsoft programmes as well as CRM systems
  • Good working relationship with colleagues in marketing, sales and production

Typical Knowledge, Skills and Experience and Qualifications Required to be Proficient in the Role

  • Bachelor (Honours) Degree and/or sales & marketing experience in the B2B sector (Construction a benefit)
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts
  • Skills and experience in creative writing content
  • Skilled in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Online and database skills
  • Excellent communication (both written and oral), organizational and interpersonal skills required.
