Marketing Manager

Typical Responsibilities

  • Manage media plans and activities within the relevant trade and industry press, in line with overall campaign objectives
  • Manage advertising and PR agencies to create and deliver promotional materials aligned to strategy, on budget and on time
  • Drive promotional programmes to underpin tactical initiatives in line with campaign objectives and measurement tools
  • Collect market and customer insight that will help inform the business how to develop its processes
  • Work with customers to strengthen MEDITE SMARTPLY’s campaigns within the wider market in line with marketing objectives and campaign material available
  • Liaise with trade bodies & associations to ensure compliance and that membership is maximised and evaluated through all relevant channels
  • Execute product propositions which help build our ‘pull’ strategy through a specification led approach
  • Liaise with product management to contribute to the implementation of new product introductions
  • Lead generation and evaluation of marketing campaigns including subscription activities
  • Creative contributions aligned to executing strategy or tactics

  • Ensure alignment of media schedule in line with campaigns and overall strategy
  • Promotional programme achieves its metric targets
  • Evidence of effective campaign metrics
  • Demonstrable knowledge and insight which is reflected within work produced
  • Effective use of customer marketing spend
  • Communications are compliant with governing body guidelines
  • Evidence that channels are effective
  • Content factual and engaging, distributed efficiently and on time
  • Proven engagement from key target audiences and continuous improvement on previous campaign metrics
  • Successful campaigns demonstrated through KPIs being achieved

Typical Knowledge, Skills and Experience and Qualifications Required to be Proficient in the Role

  • Experience within the construction industry
  • Bachelor (Honours) Degree and/or sales & marketing experience in the B2B sector
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts
  • Skills and experience in creative writing content
  • Skilled in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Online and database skills
  • Excellent communication (both written and oral), organisational and interpersonal skills required.
