Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Understanding the key challenges of MS and how they impact the financial position, translating this into forward-looking financial strategies and risk management approaches.
  • Own and continuously improve the P&L Forecast/Budget; quarterly, annual, and long-term revenue and cost outlook.
  • Manage the monthly financial reporting processes, providing accurate, timely, and insightful analysis of MS’s performance against budget and forecast, and prior periods.
  • Prepare and present insightful analytics, narrative and slides to senior leadership and group during month end, forecast, budget and in response to adhoc requests.
  • Lead ad-hoc business performance analysis to assess new opportunities, partnerships, and strategic initiatives, including reporting.

Business Partnership & Strategic Support

  • Translate business inputs into actionable financial insights and recommendations.
  • Present findings and insights clearly and confidently to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Act as a key finance partner to the sales team.

Process Improvement

  • Streamline forecasting and reporting processes to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Build and maintain financial models to support scenario planning, gross margin analysis, identify trends, risks, and opportunities in the business, and provide strategic insights to support decision-making.
  • Contribute and drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and striving to deliver best in class FP&A reporting.

Typical Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience

  • Minimum Degree equivalent of Professional Financial qualification ACA, ACCA, CIMA
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, with a track record of increasing responsibility and business partnership
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying financial information effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
