Chez MEDITE SMARTPLY, notre engagement en faveur du développement durable est au cœur de tous les niveaux de notre activité. Il est également essentiel à notre ambition d'atteindre la neutralité carbone d' ici 2030 en ce qui concerne les émissions des champs d'application 1 et 2. Nous réalisons d'excellents progrès à cet égard, mais nous reconnaissons qu'il reste encore beaucoup à faire. Notre objectif à plus long terme est de devenir un fabricant net zéro d' ici 2050, conformément à la législation britannique, irlandaise et européenne.
Actuellement, 95 % de l'énergie produite par MEDITE SMARTPLY dans le cadre de ses activités directes est renouvelable. En 2021, MEDITE SMARTPLY a obtenu une garantie d'origine pour l'électricité verte, ce qui nous a permis de confirmer notre passage à 100 % d'électricité verte.
Nous avons également l'intention de travailler avec nos clients et notre chaîne d'approvisionnement pour les aider dans leur démarche de réduction des émissions de carbone, afin de réduire leurs émissions et les nôtres. Cette collaboration contribuera à promouvoir les bonnes pratiques au sein de l'industrie, ce qui permettra de mieux comprendre les défis auxquels l'industrie est confrontée et, en fin de compte, de réduire l'impact sur le carbone.
