Movement / Master Reference Number (MRN)

A Movement / Master Reference Numbers (MRN) is created once the goods are cleared for export. This number and the Single Administrative Document (SAD) details are vital details with which to complete the import process. You can use the link below to help with making an Import Declaration

Customs Duties, tariffs and related taxes

Customs duties, tariffs and related taxes are paid for by the receiving Customer under DAP incoterms. As our products are classified as ‘non-controlled goods’ these can be deferred to 30th June 2021, but we would strongly recommend collecting this data now.

MEDITE SMARTPLY Hauliers and Customs agents

MEDITE SMARTPLY have appointed their five contracted GB RORO carriers to act as their customs agents for the respective loads they carry to our UK Customers. These are listed below

  • - Montgomery Transport
  • - Nolan Transport
  • - O’Reilly Transport
  • - P&O Ferrymasters
  • - Perennial Freight

Our UK Customers will be contacted by the Logistics Company / Customs Agent to provide the MRN & SAD details to their respective Customs Agent in the UK to clear the goods through to delivery.

Ports Used

  • Rosslare to Fishguard – Anything going to South Wales / South of England
  • Rosslare to Pembroke - Anything going to South Wales / South of England
  • Dublin to Holyhead – North Wales, North & Central England
  • Dublin to Liverpool - North Wales, North & Central England
  • Larne to Stranraer (NI to Scotland) – This is not a frequent route but used for RORO direct to Scotland.
