SMARTPLY now offer a new range of flooring panels which have been tested in a UKAS accredited laboratory on OSB-web i-joists, metal web and solid timber joists as part of the internal floor. The OSB/3 panels are certified to help achieve a sound reduction of at least 40dB to airborne sounds complying with the requirements of the Building Regulations requirements in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
Our SMARTPLY MAX OSB/3 and ULTIMA OSB/4 panels are ideal for timber frame applications, their strength and moisture resistance make them the ultimate choice when looking for a structural solution for both large and small scale house building projects.
Our structural SMARTPLY MAX and ULTIMA range can be produced on large scale formats up to 2.8m wide by 7.5m long and to a maximum thickness of 40mm making quick work of walls, floors and rooves for offsite construction projects.
SMARTPLY AIRTIGHT is designed for use as internal structural sheathing on the warm side of the insulation in timber frame construction systems, it works alongside breathable MEDITE VENT for the structure of a Passivhaus building.
