SMARTPLY SURE STEP DB adds structural and acoustic performance, helping deliver flooring systems that are efficient, comfortable, and built for long‑term performance.
Integrated Technology
Our airtight products use advanced resin technology to create a high‑performance, no‑added‑formaldehyde panel that forms a superior bond with the wood strands through direct reaction. The integrated vapour control layer and air barrier remove the need for additional AVCL membranes, while the smooth, durable coating ensures excellent adhesion for airtight tapes at panel joints.
Installation Efficiency
SMARTPLY airtight products are OSB/3 grade panels and should be installed by the recommendations provided in the specific product technical datasheets. AIRTIGHT contains a smooth durable surface for superior bonding of airtight tape at panel joints, and SURE STEP DB has an innovative slip-resistant coating, perfect for large scale timber frame projects.

Citu, the purpose-driven developer, used SMARTPLY AIRTIGHT and SMARTPLY SURE STEP DB to construct 200 homes built to Passivhaus principles in Leeds.
