For situations where the floor may be exposed to the weather for prolonged period, SMARTPLY recommends that SURE STEP DB is used to avoid degradation of the panel surface and to provide a low slip risk surface even in wet conditions.
Sustainable Performance
All SMARTPLY products are manufactured from Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) certified timber, and other controlled sources. SMARTPLY also operates under an Integrated Pollution Prevention Control (IPPC) licence, which is monitored by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in Ireland.

Making a Sure Step Into Improved Site Safety
SMARTPLY SURE STEP DB is an airtight, tongue and groove OSB/3 panel with a high-performance and durable coating that can be left exposed for up to 45 days without degradation. This innovative panel has been tested in a flooring system to meet the residential internal floor sound insulation requirements of 40dB for use in all timber-based joists in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
